Cruise to the Carribean

Wow, I haven't written here since Halloween? That is sad. I honestly forgot I had a blog, but since I have a little bit of time today I will write a little about our cruise and post a few pictures.

My parents took the family on a cruise for Christmas, we also went with my Aunt Kathy, Drue, Demi, and Carlee. We had the time of our lives! Its unreal, how much stuff they can fit on that ship! They had an ice skating rink! Crazy! The dinners were Jake's favorite part, he ordered steak every night PLUS whatever the main meal was. So first night, Steak and Chicken. Second night Steak and Lobster. Third night Steak and more steak! He ate like a king, that's for sure.

They had a pub in the ship that had karaoke, so the guy called the whole fam damily up to sing Love Shack! SO HILARIOUS!

Halloween, weekend #2!

So Friday night we went to two of our friend's house, we dressed up as zombies. Jake was a zombie wrestler, and me a zombie cheerleader. The costumes turned out better then I expected.
Saturday night we went to our friend Brett and Meagan's for their second annual Halloween Party. I was a school girl and Jake was the Nerdy Professor. Our costumes turned out perfect, we loved them!! We love the holidays, and can't wait for Thanksgiving, Christmas, then..... Caribbean Cruise!!

Jake and I love Halloween, we will be attending 3 Halloween parties this year... therefore we will have 3 different costumes. Last night we went out with our friends Mike and Alyssa, they were a red neck and the farmers daughter. Jake was Frank Gore and I was Brett Favre. Here are pictures, and many more to come. So I finished the Park City Half Marathon! It took me 3 hours and 17 minutes! A long time, I am well aware of that! It was THE hardest thing I have ever done in my life! The air up in Park City was so hard to breathe in and try running 13 miles in it! There were over 2000 runners that ran in the marathon, crazy huh?? I wish I would have trained a little bit more and also trained in Park City a few times, cause the air up there killed me. But the only thing that matters is that I finished!! I am feeling it today but I most definitely want to do another one. Jake said he wants to do it with me next year too. It's a huge accomplishment and am so proud of everyone that did it!!

So.....

I am running a 1/2 marathon tomorrow. I am more nervous then I can imagine and am pretty sure I won't sleep a wink tonight. I will be thinking about it all night. Me and 3 girls from my work have been training for 4 months, and it all comes down to tomorrow! I will post pictures and say how it went!! Wish me luck, I will most definitely need it!!

Bear Lake

Wow I haven't posted in a long time. Well for the 4th of July, we went to Bear Lake with our friends. We had so much fun. The high was 70 degrees! Pretty cold, but we made the most of it and had a great time.

So this weekend, me and my dancing girls went to Vegas. For a dance competition of course. No other reason. ha! We flew out on Thursday night and had a blast. We went dancing the first night, then laid out at the pool all morning Friday. After that? Shopping of course. :) The competition went really well, we were there ALL DAY but it was a lot of fun. Saturday night we went and celebrated and the whole team went to dinner and after that, more dancing! We hung out at Pure, one of the nicest night clubs in Vegas, it's almost impossible to get in if you don't have the hook ups or lots of money. But I had a feeling that they weren't going to say no to 15 girls. I love all the girls so much, I have made great friendships and am so grateful their in my life. Love you girlies!!

Holy Crap, I am getting old. To all you "older" people you may not think I am old but I keep telling myself, there is not going to be another birthday to look forward to now. Why would I want to be in my mid twenties? Then thirties? Forties? Fifties? No don't say it! Jake was great, he got me flowers, took me out to dinner, bought me a new camera and Twilight. It was great.

I celebrated my birthday with friends on Saturday night and we went to dinner and then out dancing. Here are a few pictures. It was a lot fun. Thanks everyone!! Love ya!

So it's just a typical Wednesday, get up work out, go to work, and go to dance. I get a text from my friend Kylie asking me for a business proposition. She asks me to go to the Rascal Flatts concert tomorrow night and be one of their dancers as their performing! Who is going to give up that opportunity? Not me! We got to the ESA and got introduced to the Productions Manger, who was so nice! We got to see where we will be dancing, it was a spiral staircase and we were going to be silhouettes dancing. We were on the stairs in a big cylinder type thing with a bunch of different colors in the background and to the audiences perspective it looked like silhouettes just dancing to their music. I can not believe how much fun I had, we danced the whole concert so it was not only the time of my life but a great workout too. We got to meet the band before they performed and they were SO NICE! It was a great experience and I will never forget it.

We went to Wendover last weekend for Melinda's 21st birthday. Yay! It was a good time with all our friends, I hope we can do it more often. We had a hot tub in our suite, so we kicked the boys out (well we tried) and had some fun with just the girls. Here's some pictures.

We headed on our way to the game in the cab. Luckily we left plenty of time to get there cause the traffic of 60 thousand people finding thier way there is pretty bad! When we finally arrived to the stadium i started to get so excited! I just couldn't wait to get in and see where our seats actually were and how close we'd be. We started looking for the seats and found the section. As we headed to the actual seats we kept getting closer and closer to field. We sat on the 13th row! Just sitting that close made me so much more excited! They came out on the field right in front of us. We got to see all of my favorite players and coach come out. The game started and was a great game right from the start. The 49ers started with the ball and marched down the field to score first with a touchdown! After that the 49ers gave up 17 straight pionts to go down 17-7 at the half. I was a little bumbed, but still thought they ha a chance to come back. The 3rd quarted started and the Niners headed down the field again with another touchdown! This one by the running back Foster. The 49ers were only down 3 now and were ready to score again by the end of the 3rd. As the 4th quarter started Jason Hill caught a pass and dove in for another touchdown right in front of us! It was so exciting. The score being 21-17 for the 49ers i was excited and now a little nervous hoping they could keep the lead. They added a field goal to put the Niners up by a full touchdown with about 5 minnutes left. To add to the game Washington put a drive together and scored a touchdown to tie it up with only about 3 minnutes in the game. Shaun Hill lead the 49ers back down the field down to the 22 yard line. With only 3 seconds left on the clock Joe Nedney kicked a 39 yard field goal to win the game with no time left on the clock! The game couldn't have been and better to go! I had the best time!

San Francisco

San Francisco was.... AMAZING. It was so nice to get away from everything here and have a little trip to ourselves. We got in late Friday night and just went to bed, but Saturday we explored all of what San Fran had to offer.

China Town was less then 1/2 a block by our hotel so we walked there. Once you go into one shop, you've seen them all right? It was still fun to see what kind of stuff they had. Here are a few pictures from China Town. We stopped to eat delicious Chinese Food, other then the fact that our egg rolls were cold and were probably sitting there for a few days everything else was yummy. Jake wanted to buy that hat to wear to work, weirdo. They were selling those spider things as earrings. Who in their right mind would wear those?

After China Town, we walked down the the Pier. 2 1/2 miles later! There were a bunch of street performers, it was really fun to see. We decided we wanted to see the Aquarium and the Wax Museum. Both were very interesting and we had a good time. Here are a few pictures from that.

This was just the first day we were there. There is more to come, the whole reason why we went GAME DAY! I'll get that posted as soon as possible.

The Big Secret

So the secret is out! We're going to San Francisco! I have been planning a trip to San Franciso to see a 49er game for Jake since July! Keeping the secret in has been killing me and I finally revieled it at my house for a December birthday party. Here is a video of his reaction.

We also played spoons, why we play this game? I have no idea! This is a picture of me and my little brother, we both got "rotten egg" flavor. It's absolutley rotten, I don't wish upon anyone to try this evil jelly bean.

Thanksgiving is always a fun time with family. This year was especially fun because all the grand kids went downstairs to play a good old fashion game of "Spoons" But this isn't just your ordinary game of Spoons. Instead of getting out when you don't get the spoon, you have to eat a Harry Potter Jelly Bean. Some flavors consist of Vomit, Rotten Egg, Sardine, and many others. So much fun and so disgusting at the same time.

I cut my hair! And I absolutley love it! Total, she cut off twelve inches. We donated it and it makes me feel good knowing that it can go to someone who may not be able to grow hair. I am sorry for those of you whose hair won't grow past your shoulders, my hair just isn't like that. It will be long again in six months if I want to grow it back out. So I thought, why not? So Jake and I are more than excited to lay on the beach in the Bahamas, while sipping on a pina colata. If that's how you even spell it. However you all know, or at least if you are reading my blog you are intelligent enough to watch the news and know that there are TWO hurricanes in the Bahamas right now. Hurricane Hanna is there right now. And Hurricane Ike will be there next week. Hopefully it is all done by the time we go. It would be just our luck to have to sit in our condo and play card games all vacation. I REFUSE! So pray for me that first of all we don't die on the plane, because I am more than terrified of them and TWO we have nice weather down there. I appreciate it. :)

Hawaii

Having the title to this post be "Hawaii" sounds like it's going to be a great post right? Wrong, well wrong for me and great for Jake. Jake will be leaving me for a week and a half to go to Hawaii for work. Not even 3 months ago his stupid work made him leave for 3 weeks to Mexico. Which while he was gone I had a God awful experience at my house. I don't want to re-live that again. Definitely the scariest moment of my life. So while Jake is living it up in Hawaii I will be sleeping on a blow up mattress in my little brothers room, where by the way there is definitely not enough room in there. But at least I will be safe right? Even though after I had the scare of my life while Jake was in Mexico and we got an alarm system, I do not trust it if I am alone. Don't get me wrong, it's great and all but it cannot be trusted if I am home alone. So I will be living at my parents for a week and a half with let me remind you ONE BATHROOM, compared to my house where I have THREE BATHROOMS. Oh well, knowing that I will be safe is going to be worth it right? Jake better bring me home something good.

Ten Years Ago.....
Jake and I were wee little 11 year olds. We went to different elementaries and had our little boyfriends and girlfriends. Life was so easy back then.

Five Years Ago.....
We just met. We met the second day of school in Mr. Locey's english class, and have been in seperable every since.

Five Months Ago.....
We were looking for a new house! Our experiance went very smooth. We looked at houses and didn't like anything we were seeing. Then we saw one we absoultey loved but wasn't sure if we could afford it or if it was even available still. We got so lucky and everything worked out perfect.

My List of Five Things To Do Tomorrow.....
1. Go to the gym. Kickboxing YES!
2. Work.... haha NOT!
3. Go camping. We are going to Washington Lake. Make smores. Jake can make the perfect marshmellow. Perfect golden brown.

Keys on Main

Jake and I have gone to Keys on Main for two weeks in a row. It is such a fun atmosphere and a great place to hang out with friends. The first night we went for T'Ann's birthday. It was a great time!

Yesterday was a fun filled day, we went boating at Jordanelle and I am such a scardy cat that I was to afraid to try wake boarding. I am so scared of drowning or getting hurt, I don't know what's wrong with me. However, I did get enough guts to ride the tube and it felt like Mitchell (the driver) went crazy on us I felt like I was getting whipped around like no other. I am alive so it was fun! Jake wake boarded and looked like a pro. I wish I could get enough courage to try it, maybe next time.

So at night we went to Keys on Main with some friends and we had a really good time. As you can tell from the pictures.

Hello Everyone!

Ok, so I am completely new to this whole blogging thing. I am not even sure if I am doing this right. So we'll see how it turns out.
Jake and I have been together for 6 years in August 2008. We met our sophomore year of high school and had a few rough patches in the middle but that is what made our relationship as strong as it right now. We have a puppy Gunther. He has a mind of his own, but most of the time he is a great dog. In March we bought a townhouse together in West Jordan. We love our house and it's perfect for just the two of us. Jake works in construction doing concrete and I work at Cyprus Credit Union. We're loving our life right now and couldn't really ask for anything more.
